Honda Hiring – Tool Room Machinist

Job Description:

This represents potential Tool Room Machinist openings in various manufacturing departments at our Anna Engine Plant and Honda Engineering North America facility in Anna, Ohio.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manual Mill
• Presetting of holders and cutters
• Small tear down and assembly jobs
• Manual Lathe
• Miscellaneous hand work
• Manual and CNC regrinding
• Grinding
• Welding
• Perform tasks as assigned by team leader. Normal daily activities include machine shop activities, tool regrind, and tool presetting.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to use micrometers calipers, etc..
• Effective time management.
• Machine shop or cutting tool preset and regrind experience.
• Self-motivation.
• Flexible team player.
• Occasional weekend and holiday work as needed.
• Manufacturing Environment.
• Possible travel with training and new machine installations.
• Flexibility to work 2nd or 3rd shift long term.
• 0-12 hour’s overtime per week.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Troubleshoot and countermeasure manufacturing related issues of low to moderate complexity.
• Organization skills.

Qualification & Experience:

• Minimum two years of machine shop or cutting tool regrind experience preferred.
