Job Responsibilities: Assesses, documents, and communicates emerging risks, themes and identified issues to management and risk partners in a timely manner. Build trading tools and platform knowledge in your team through ongoing training. Manages communication and collaboration with business heads, Legal and Audit on risk related topics. Performs Secondary Level Review (SLR) of QC reviews completed by the team Manage Quality Control (QC) Pipeline to ensure work is allocated to team members as appropriate. Escalates any critical or high risk issues to appropriate leadership. Identifies potential corrective actions, and follows through on reporting, escalation, and resolution. Provides thoughtful independent credible challenge to lines of business, and across risk programs. Job Requirements: Familiar with considering a broad range of issues in making decisions, and holds oneself accountable for delivering on commitments and renegotiating when needed. Proficiently balances tasks and concerns for people's needs. Familiar with building constructive and effective relationships. Familiar with leading and challenging others to improve the organization. Is the subject matter expert on testing topics, risk types, line of business process walkthroughs, test results, quality assurance, researching, and issue identification. Can expertly evaluate both the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, systems and internal controls; while analyzing business and/or systems changes to determine impact. Other Desired Qualifications Minimum three years at Big Four/super regional public accounting firm with experience in business process, regulatory, or IT audit and/or business process, regulatory, or IT SoX advisory/consulting service. Qualification & Experience: 10+ years of experience in risk management (includes compliance, financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, IT systems security, business process management) 8+ years of leadership experience.
