Job Description:

The SAP Test analyst is responsible for the execution and delivery of SAP testing to major changes to ensure Transport for London’s IT SAP infrastructure and application is tested in line with industry standards to ensure stability, continuity and quality in the SAP changes that are made in both the BAU and Project streams.

Job Responsibilities:

• Utilise and manage test tools to the SAP test team to bring in efficiency & consistency to the functional testing
• Provide clear definition of acceptance criteria for the work packages that will be delivered using the most appropriate methodology, precise budget control and forecasting, and aligning to Transport for London’s development and test principles and strategic direction.
• Responsible for leading on relationships with stakeholders in relation to the changes delivered, examining any future business changes in demand, the financial impact and mitigating risks for the services within their portfolio
• Evaluate, decide upon and champion new technologies and tools in an Automation or Performance team
• Understanding of large & complex SAP landscapes and the SAP change mechanisms E
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related discipline (or corresponding professional experience) E
• ITIL V3 Service Management certification E
• Knowledge and experience of the provision of effective technical support services to a complex, real-time, multi-site operation E
• Demonstrable experience in executing work packages with multiple complex interface scenarios. E
  Structured test methodologies in a SAP environment E
• Knowledge of cloud computing service models, such as SaaS, PaaS, IaaS. E
• Broad Knowledge of development, DevOps & Project methodologies (including Prince2, PMM, PMI) D
• Knowledge and experience of IT applications in public transportation and its business environment D

Job Requirements:

• Proven ability to engage interactions between suppliers, internal teams and customers necessary to reliably deliver quality technology service performance within large-scale, complex operating environments. E
• High level of commercial acumen able to manage commercial activities that deliver significant value D
• Proven analytical skills to interpret data and make or influence appropriate business decisions E

Qualification & Experience:

• Utilising SAP Solution Manager to manage test information, for building test plans, test packages and allocating workload. E
• Demonstrable experience in executing test phases with multiple complex interface scenarios E
• Broad knowledge of Technology and Data Services. D
• Demonstrable success in continual process improvement D
• Extensive SAP Test analyst experience on multiple project lifecycles E
• Demonstratable success in executing large scale SAP Technical projects to time, cost and quality D
• Extensive experience of technology and services in a complex, multi-site, organisation D
