We have two great opportunities – join us! Reporting to the Area Manager, you will lead the efficient operation of the refinery with a focus on worker health & safety.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Propose and implement ideas for improvement
  • Foster collaboration and create an inclusive and respectful work environment
  • Supervise a team of operators in one area of the refinery and ensure proper execution of work
  • Provide support and development of your team
  • Ensure processes, regulations, and procedures are followed
  • Coordinate the emergency response team during events on your shift
  • Communicate diplomatically with the community and authorities when required
  • Create a culture of operational excellence as well as a safe and environmentally responsible work environment
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and work under pressure
  • Alignment with our values safety above all else, stronger together, operational discipline, curiosity and lifelong learning, and act with integrity
  • Excellent communication skills in French, written and spoken, knowledge of English is an asset
  • Ability to prioritize and follow up on sector performance indicators
  • A team player with the courage to act
  • Technical and operational experience in the petrochemical field with a good understanding of production planning and strategies
  • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • A high school diploma or a general education degree

Job Requirements:

  • You will work out of our Montréal Refinery, located at 11701 Sherbrooke Street East
  • Ability to work outside year-round and to work at heights
  • Knowledge of prevention and maintenance processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of the collective agreement and interactions between sectors and departments

  • This position is safety-sensitive
  • The hours of work are rotating shifts of twelve (12) hours per day (work schedule 2-2-3)
  • Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office
