Job Description:

We have two great opportunities – join us! Reporting to the Area Manager, you will lead the efficient operation of the refinery with a focus on worker health & safety.
Job Responsibilities:
- Propose and implement ideas for improvement
- Foster collaboration and create an inclusive and respectful work environment
- Supervise a team of operators in one area of the refinery and ensure proper execution of work
- Provide support and development of your team
- Ensure processes, regulations, and procedures are followed
- Coordinate the emergency response team during events on your shift
- Communicate diplomatically with the community and authorities when required
- Create a culture of operational excellence as well as a safe and environmentally responsible work environment
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to adapt to change and work under pressure
- Alignment with our values safety above all else, stronger together, operational discipline, curiosity and lifelong learning, and act with integrity
- Excellent communication skills in French, written and spoken, knowledge of English is an asset
- Ability to prioritize and follow up on sector performance indicators
- A team player with the courage to act
- Technical and operational experience in the petrochemical field with a good understanding of production planning and strategies
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- A high school diploma or a general education degree
Job Requirements:
- You will work out of our Montréal Refinery, located at 11701 Sherbrooke Street East
- Ability to work outside year-round and to work at heights
- Knowledge of prevention and maintenance processes and procedures
- Knowledge of the collective agreement and interactions between sectors and departments

- This position is safety-sensitive
- The hours of work are rotating shifts of twelve (12) hours per day (work schedule 2-2-3)
- Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office
