Job Description: This is not an official job description, but represents major responsibilities a new hire can expect to perform Job Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management Provide friendly and courteous service to customers Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job. Operate a hand jack, power lift and cardboard baler Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and baler Read and understand shelf tags Sort damaged product for credit Stock, straighten and rotate product on shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods., and Grocery Departments. Process incoming product from our warehouse and direct store delivery vendors Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler and freezer Maintain company productivity standards Job Requirements: Able to push loaded two wheeler (average 100-120 pounds) Able to pull a loaded pallet (up to 700 pounds) Able to pull loaded stock truck Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Able to stock 50 cases per hour Able to work in a cold environment (-10 to 40 degrees) Working on feet entire shift (4-8hours) Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks. Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks. Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline). If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
