Job Responsibilities:

• Understand, align and expand solutions with Royal Mail’s Cloud Data Warehouse and Data Model, using data from a wide variety of business and cloud source systems.
• Line manage, continuously improve, certify and mentor junior analytics engineers
• Provide internal stakeholder management, tier-3 product support, documentation and end-user training as required.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders, elaborating, challenging and meeting requirements that deliver business benefit and compelling user experience.
• Use QlikSense and QlikView daily, to deliver end-to-end analytics products and features across multiple business areas.
• Drive continual improvements to standard data, dashboard, report and user functionality.
• Design, develop, test, optimise, scale and deploy stable solutions to Google Cloud Platform.
• Work within Product-Centric Teams, inputting into planning, estimation and prioritisation within an agile framework.

Job Requirements:

• Experience of product development using Public Cloud providers, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience in QlikSense and QlikView server management, including infrastructure, task scheduling and security.
• In-depth experience of using data analytics to add value to an organisation at scale.
• Expert knowledge of QlikSense, plus knowledge of additional visualisation technologies such as QlikView, Business Objects, PowerBI, Looker or similar.
• Expert knowledge of visualisation design and data-driven user experience, particularly enabling self-service and encouraging data literacy.
• Comprehensive understanding of data lakes, database design, data warehouses and data modelling.
