Job Description:
Web promotions content producer and strategic merchandiser with expertise in implementing digital campaigns and testing methodologies and collaborating across teams to ensure promotions are properly executed, analyzed, optimized and reported on. This role requires digital marketing strategy and web merchandising skills, in addition to understanding marketing and revenue objectives as they relate to specific promotions, strategic initiatives and overarching goals. Candidate will be responsible for owning Web promotions, including managing the promotional calendar, working with the publishing team to ensure all Web content is published and accurate, strategizing and developing promotional content in collaboration with the creative and product marketing teams, and optimizing, testing and reporting on all promotions. The candidate will analyze, conceptualizing, implement and communicate the results of promotional content, A/B, dynamic and multivariate tests. The role’s primary focus is to leverage Web promotions as a tool to grow cruise and air booking volume and revenue through increased conversion and an improved digital customer experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supports the business by leveraging e-commerce principles as well as general business expertise to ensure the site is optimized to reflect how customers prefer to shop online.
- Champions promotional content projects and rapidly tests, measures and iterates, driving fundamental improvement to the site experience and financials.
- Consults and evangelize across functional teams that support Celebrity.com on testing and promotions strategy. Focuses on how site testing/content methodologies and testing tool capabilities may be leveraged to address business needs.
- Evaluates and refines website content and segments to find areas of opportunity. Builds and maintains strategic promotions calendar which guides the optimization of campaigns by scoring, prioritizing and logging of future test ideas and past test results.
- Identify opportunities across products on Celebrity.com, cruise, air and pre-cruise planning to drive online bookings and meet yearly direct web goals.
- Owns promotional content campaigns through end-to-end management including, post analysis, a/b testing, HTML and/or photo editing/cropping including providing data around content & test solutions and problem areas to resolve.
- Authoring, reviewing, and publishing promotion content in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as needed.
- Ownership of all AEM links and imagery for updated content on landing pages and experiences across all site areas applicable
- Execute A/B, multivariate, segment-based campaign tests. Perform quality assurance and troubleshoot technical issues pre-launch. Communicate promotions / test launches in team setting or to executive leadership via Presentation giving overview and results of the test plan. Monitor live promotional content / test performance.
- Works with revenue management on promotion development, QA and testing.
- Assist in prioritizing, maintaining, organizing and archiving all web assets
- Oversee ongoing authoring and page creation requests for Promotions and campaigns from Global digital partners and branches.
- Works with creative team to optimize digital production assets for web
Job Requirements:
- Clear understanding of basic financial, statistical, and economic concepts. Ability to work collaboratively acting as a subject matter expert within a team environment to help define and meet measurement criteria and goals
- Strong working knowledge of leading Internet technologies, development applications, and supportive protocols
- Must be a self-motivator and enjoy sifting through large amounts of data
- Proficiency in web analytics tools including Omniture and Google Analytics a plus
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills to be able to communicate across all levels
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Proficient with AEM 6.4 or higher preferred
- Strong business acumen and ability to present to senior management
- Good understanding of web design principles and usability practices
- Strong quality assurance skills. Must be detailed oriented with logical problem-solving skills Outstanding organizational skills and dedication to quality and integrity
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, ecommerce, Web Design, Development, Merchandising or related field of study; or any equivalent combination of relevant education, experience and training
- Understanding of e-Commerce analytical tools, testing tools and landing pages optimization
- Fundamental grasp of web analytics and financial analysis capability
- Working knowledge of personal computers within a windows environment with e-mail, and MS Word with advance Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to contribute effectively in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience with content management systems
- Experience with website testing tools such as Monetate and Adobe Target, and Adobe Creative Design suite, JIRA, Tableau
- Knowledge of the tourism field/travel/cruise industry. Sound knowledge of digital marketing fundamentals and solid decision-making skills sufficient to evaluate and decide on site content placement and product merchandising opportunities
- 3-5 years of experience in an ecommerce environment with a minimum of 3 years of experience in website optimization, Web merchandising or digital marketing
