Job Description: We’re currently looking for a Manufacturing Innovation Summer Intern to join our Digital Transformation team at the largest US Vehicle Plant located in Smyrna, TN. The position will be will be a full-time role for Summer of 2025 in the Manufacturing Strategy and Innovation Office. Job Responsibilities: Conduct a study or research into new technology to support initiatives such as- better manufacturing methods, Industry 4.0, application of data science Present a recommendation for how to apply the new technology studied/researched into Manufacturing Learn about Nissan manufacturing Job Requirements: Strong communication skills both written and oral Self-motivated and willing to challenge yourself by developing innovative ideas Ability to learn new concepts independently and apply to business problems Basic knowledge of Python, Tableau, and SQL Databases a plus Have a data mindset with some experience in data analysis Qualification & Experience: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science and/or Analytics, or Mechatronics.
