Job Description:
We’re currently looking for a Manufacturing Innovation Summer Intern to join our Digital Transformation team at the largest US Vehicle Plant located in Smyrna, TN. The position will be will be a full-time role for Summer of 2025 in the Manufacturing Strategy and Innovation Office.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct a study or research into new technology to support initiatives such as- better manufacturing methods, Industry 4.0, application of data science
- Present a recommendation for how to apply the new technology studied/researched into Manufacturing
- Learn about Nissan manufacturing
Job Requirements:
- Strong communication skills both written and oral
- Self-motivated and willing to challenge yourself by developing innovative ideas
- Ability to learn new concepts independently and apply to business problems
- Basic knowledge of Python, Tableau, and SQL Databases a plus
- Have a data mindset with some experience in data analysis
Qualification & Experience:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science and/or Analytics, or Mechatronics.
- GPA of 3.0 or above
- Strong organization ability with keen attention to detail
