Job Description:

We’re currently looking for a Quality Engineer (Assembly and Machining) Intern to join our team. The position will be at the following location – Decherd, TN. Powertrain. This position will be a full-time role for Summer of 2025.

Job Responsibilities:

• Engine tear down and defect investigation
• Engine hot test mapping and reporting
• Test cell troubleshooting
• Advanced additive manufacturing technologies
• Defect mapping and recognition of engine assembly processes
• Various Digital Acceleration projects (data analysis, monitoring, reporting, etc.)

Job Requirements:

• Strong organization ability with keen attention to detail
• Preferred experience with AutoCad, C++, Python and/or other related programing languages.
• Be self-motivated and willing to challenge yourself to develop your talents and skill sets
• Currently be pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
• GPA of 3.0 or above
• Strong communication skills both written and oral
