Job Description:
Our team at Altona are looking for an Inbound and Inventory Coordinator to join the team. A key role you will play is to ensure correct receipts of Goods are received, improve traceability of all goods arriving at the Distribution Centre. Ability to drive Operations team to timely write-up and put away stock to a Storage Bin in the warehouse. Activities such as receipting, handling discrepancies, troubleshooting issues, enforcing compliance, running health check, and reporting trends is a key for this role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle Damages / Physical short on receipt
- Timely receipting of stock arriving from various sources
- Work with Nestle Factories, communication teams, Internal and external Distribution centres, vendors etc. to ensure stock is reconciled from despatch to receipt.
- Follow all compliance requirements
- Be back up for the Handling Unit Co-Ordinator when required
- Blocking and unblocking of stock as required by factory, Corporate Operations or Supply Chain teams.
- Investigate Cause and resolve with shipping/receiving plants.
- Record damages occurred during the Inbound process and provide visibility through reporting and investigate with teams involved in chain for resolution
- Support Pallet controller – Ensuring that the site has sufficient pallets to fulfil customer orders. Monthly reporting of reconciliation of Chep and Loscam accounts
- Support operations team with troubleshooting issues in SAP and receivals
Job Requirements:
- Instill best practice for effective stock management
- Team Player – Able to work cross functionally and engage varying stakeholders
- Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
- Working experience in a factory or warehouse will be highly regarded
- Good time management skills
- You are process driven, can challenge the status quo
- Intermediate skill in Excel and Word is a plus
