Job Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor, to coach, develop and challenge leadership teams on all people related matters, providing strategic direction and insight in order to achieve optimum people performance. Utilising data insights to determine the right solution.
- Y ou will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive, commercially focussed HR service, encompassing Resourcing, Reward, Employee Relations and Development/Learning within your respective business pipelines.
- Work collaboratively with centre of excellences within the broader People function (e.g. Talent, Reward, People Relations, L&D) to provide consultancy and advice within the business.
- Manage high-level employee relations, working at a strategic and operational level to resolve complex issues and address grievances
- Partner and consult with leadership teams and key stakeholders to help build organisation and people capability to meet the organisation’s needs. Helping to resolve strategic business issues, promoting a performance led organisation and embedding the values.
- Provide HR training to our restaurant leaders, ensuring our teams feel confident dealing with sensitive grievances, grumbles, and discipline and wellbeing concerns.
- Influence recommendations covering multiple areas to shape and implement effective people strategies and activities within the organisation and locally within their client areas.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to the People Services Helpdesk to assist with build a high calibre team with the skills and capabilities needed to deliver for future growth.
- Help on-board our office employees, working with the recruiting managers and talent team to ensure the best employee experience.
Job Requirements:
- Ideally 4+ years of HR experience with 2+ years in a strategic HRBP role in a global brand
- Ability to coach effectively at senior leadership level
- Creative and courageous to pose an alternative view to the business and leadership, even when it might not be the most popular action – we crave a diverse perspective!
- Relationships- be able to build and facilitate relationships across the organisation that are based on trust and are productive for all stakeholders
- Analytical with the ability to balance the strategic initiatives with HR BAU
- High personal standards of integrity and confidentiality
- Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills
- Some experience in organisational design would be preferred
- Strong business acumen- understand the business, its strategy, its purpose, its culture and be able to have meaningful conversations about those areas
- Passionate about ensuring we provide an inclusive culture to our people
- Understanding and accurately applying current UK employment law, with a strong experience in resolving employee relations issues
