Job Description:

We are looking for a concept-driven and highly skilled person who can work across both print and digital projects. Working alongside creative leads and stakeholders to produce creative ideas and strong visual assets in line with brand and business vision. Providing design direction for the design team and offering support and guidance to make sure the team is confident in delivering brand vision. You’ll need a strong visual eye and highly crafted skills in typography and layout. Have the ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously, and multi-task to thrive in an atmosphere of rapid development. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as being comfortable presenting work to founders and stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

• Development, implementation, and guardianship of the brand identity across digital and physical touchpoints
• Works with the wider team to push innovation and challenge the norm
• Leads design on creative projects across the business
• Manage and lead external contractors or illustrators, manage budgets and sign off of work
• Create brand guidelines where necessary and ensure creative expression is consistent in execution
• Driving and improving design standards and quality across the business
• Contribute and collaborate on a strategic level to help deliver the business vision
• Meet deadlines while having the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Keep up to date with trends and new ideas and interpret those into relevant creative
• Confident presenting designs and explaining thought processes to stakeholders/founders
• Give design direction and advice to international teams when needed
  Nurture strong communication and collaboration with other creative disciplines across the business eg video, photography, artwork teams etc
• Provide feedback, inspiration, design direction and support for the design team

Job Requirements:

• Excellent understanding of the design industry and any current trends and new technologies
• Aware of artworking techniques and print processes
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative suite and strong visual design skills
• Digital design skills a plus – esp Figma/wireframing
• Confident coming up with visual concepts and design strategy
