Job Description:
The Director Talent Acquisition – West Coast is the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders in managing recruitment for L’Oreal West Coast brands including Urban Decay, NYX, Pulp Riot and Youth to The People in all divisions, Luxury, Professional Products, Consumer Products and Active Cosmetics. This role manages recruitment for Marketing, Sales/Education, Digital, Creative, Finance and HR roles. They manage the Candidate Experience from end to end, providing superior client attention with a larger goal of enhancing L’Oréal’s Employer Value Proposition EVP specific to the West Coast culture and with a focus on Diversity Equity and Inclusion. This position requires an individual with strong interpersonal relationship skills to develop business partnerships across many stakeholders and adaptability in a dynamic fast paced and changing environment. The Director is responsible for full-cycle recruiting and providing supporting market data analytics, KPI dashboards and market insights to business partners, posting strategies, candidate sourcing execution. This role reports into the SVP of Talent Acquisition with a dotted line into the VP of HR for the West Coast, and manages one junior HR associate.
Job Responsibilities:
- Utilize systems and maintain high quality candidate feedback in L’Oreal USA CRM, ATS and recruitment portal
- Ensure that all candidates interviewing with L’Oreal have completed all necessary administrative steps including application, reimbursement requests, WOTC form etc
- Validate reporting in ATS for team and support ad hoc requests
- Oversee scheduling via our schedulers including calendar coordination
- Implement new ideas to attract West Coast talent to L’Oreal including consulting on employer branding.
- Maintain business partner relationships with key HR stakeholders and business leaders in each brand
- Maintain applicant flows though Avature ATS
- Ensure candidate receives all offer and employment related information and completes requirements for eligibility to hire
- Source candidates, conducts phone screens, initial interviews, for assigned 20-25 open jobs, managing workload across team members and contractors as needed.
- Act as full end-to end recruiter on positions as available/needed
- Develop candidate pipelines through internal CRM and external digital (LinkedIn, Indeed etc.) tools, partnership, events.
Job Requirements:
- Strong Microsoft Office suite experience including presentation building skills
- High proficiency in integrated systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum of 7 years recruiting or HR Generalist paired with recruiting experience
- Ability to spot talent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and planning skills
- Ability to handle and maintain highly confidential and sensitive date and information on a regular basis
