Job Description:
An opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager (European) to manage the implementation of the SBU’s Sales plan and campaigns, in line with the Group’s Sales strategy, to showcase the unique selling points of the SBU in a compelling manner, increase its brand visibility and support the generation of sales and revenue.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the utilization of Sales & Marketing channels, both direct and indirect, in line with the corporate distribution strategy, and ensure that all channels are optimally leveraged to reduce cost of sales while maximizing bookings.
- Coordinate with the Revenue Management and Sales team to create marketing promotions, including package getaways, corporate offers, and other incentives based on seasonality.
- Manage the development and implementation of integrated SBU Sales plans to ensure alignment with the corporate strategy and maintain the SBU’s image in the market.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Sales function by providing guidance, encouraging teamwork, and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards and liaise with internal and external parties at the appropriate levels to ensure smooth flow of operations.
- Manage the execution of the SBU’s multi-channel advertising and promotional campaigns, through print and social media etc. and in line with the SBU’s revenue management strategy, to generate sales for the SBU’s services, offerings, and amenities.
- Steer the development of SBU-specific Sales & marketing content, including collaterals, promotional documents, social media transcripts etc., for both offline and online marketing channels, to continuously showcase the SBU’s competitive advantages while promoting the Group’s image.
- Support the development of strong customer relationships, through the marketing of exclusive rewards and loyalty programs, to contribute to building a loyal customer base and ensure high levels of repeat business for the SBU.
- Manage the monitoring of the SBU-related website content, social media, and other digital distribution channels to ensure that all marketing channels integrate the latest marketing campaigns, and that current and potential customers are aware of the SBU’s promotional activities and offerings.
- Remain abreast with industry and competitor trends in terms of operations and marketing activities to drive innovation and enhance the SBU’s image in the marketplace.
- Manage the SBU’s relationships with external service providers, such as creative agencies or print suppliers, to ensure that the SBU secures highly qualified expertise to support the implementation of its marketing agenda.
- Coordinate with the Revenue Management and Sales team to create marketing promotions, including package getaways, corporate offers, and other incentives based on seasonality.
- Manage the preparation of detailed marketing reports for the SBU and present it to the senior management to outline key achievements, activities undertaken and future planned initiatives.
Job Requirements:
- At least 5 years of sales experience, with an international hospitality company or a recognized blue-chip organization; a sound knowledge of the key
- Master’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent from an accredited and renowned University.
- Creative and innovative approach to sales activities
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Sales & marketing, or equivalent from an accredited and renowned University.
- Strong Sales skills, and the ability to convert marketing efforts into sales.
