Job Description:
This position supports SCS Operations and country growth by building and cultivating customers’ relationships to serve our customers better and avoid churn. Full training is provided with this role. You may be required to work additional or/and unsociable hours to meet the needs of the entire operation so some flexibility regarding working hours is necessary. Ability to travel to local offices & customers is required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Liaising with customers both internal and external
- On-boarding new customers, create SOPs and proactively monitor shipments.
- Pricing agreement creators and maintenance
- Owners of customer escalations and Net Promoter Score
- Act as consultant and resolve problems of any nature
- Own & penetrate ‘house accounts’, growth ambassadors, customer pull-through
Job Requirements:
- Good analytical skills (keen eye for details)
- Flexible, friendly and enthusiastic attitude
- Excellent communication skills, both written & spoken
- Knowledge of Microsoft office including Word & Excel
- Freight Forwarding background preferred but not essential
- A good team player and the ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision to meet tight deadlines
