Job Description:

The purpose and function of the Instructional Designer position is to support the Parts, Service, Technical Division Business Objectives to improve Fixed First Visit by creating effective Training Technical Materials, resources, and tools/applications in response to market studies and needs analyses, educating Honda/Acura Dealerships, Owners, and AHM Field Personnel on topic areas but not limited to vehicles systems and technologies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Completing development and maintenance of market-relevant resources and tools/applications
• Completing Market Studies and Needs Analyses, identify action plans to improve Performance Metrics
• Completing development and maintenance of online self-study Training Center Modules

Job Requirements:

• Ability to perform vehicle testing, disassembly, and evaluation
• Ability to proficiently use MS Office and selected Adobe products
• Knowledge of Honda Training and Publications Development process is helpful
• Ability to proficiently use the Honda Diagnostic System (i-HDS), Service information System (SiS), and Interactive Network (IN)

Qualification & Experience:

• Six to Eight years of technical/mechanical experience in the Automotive Industry, with specific Honda and Acura products
• ASE certified in areas Ai-A8, L1 preferred
• BA/BS Degree in Automotive Technology, Instructional Design, or equivalent work experience
