Job Description:
The Senior Project Manager will provide support to the Arts & Culture and Corporate Initiatives Department to help execute exhibitions and events, on-site and online. Reporting to the Cultural and Artistic Development Director, the Project Manager will be in charge of exhibition production and logistics and cross department coordination. The project manager should have meticulous attention to detail, the ability to effectively multi-task, ability to manage multiple stake holders and a keen awareness of meeting strict timelines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage logistics of in-person events; liaise with various vendors for event planning and execution.
- Assist with departmental budget reconciliation and reporting, expense tracking, and invoice processing for exhibition and events.
- Create and maintain the Exhibitions events calendar.
- Assist in events (pre-opening/opening/public programs/specific events) outreach and guest management and timelines.
- L iaise with other internal departments (Press, media, events, internal communications, etc.) to create a 360-degree program implementation
- Manage the production process, scheduling and planning for exhibitions and events (Live and online).
- Conduct and maintain ongoing project development process with collaborators, partners and venues.
- Act as liaison between the Arts and Culture and Corporate Initiatives Department and other departments when administering and organizing proper materials for events.
- Organize team project planning meetings, prepare agendas, and create actionable next steps.
Job Requirements:
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as an enthusiastic team player.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Bachelors and/or master’s degree in related field.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, with challenging and often simultaneous deadlines.
- Experience working within the arts and culture environment
