Job Description: The QA Engineer role is within the Supply Chain Technology domain which owns all stock, fulfilment, delivery, returns and warehouse integration services – the services that form the core backend of ASOS systems that powers various frontend and backend features such as availability of each product, reservation, fulfilment, delivery and returns of customer orders. Job Responsibilities: Questioning things all the time. Our ways of working, the features the team are implementing, the technologies we’re using. Contributing to ensuring the right test tooling and frameworks and practices (e.g. shift-left) are in place to help the teams to deliver against the business goals Working with the Engineers and QA Engineers in your team to deliver well-crafted software Crafting and implementing CI/CD practices that will enable them to release with confidence Learning from some of the best in the business through pairing and knowledge sharing sessions Supporting teams in adopting new tools and practices Job Requirements: Strong technical knowledge – Able to interpret technical designs and challenge design decisions. 3rd party /stakeholder management experience Past experience in a project where you implemented test automation from scratch and were able to upskill other team members. Knowledge of warehouse operations and warehouse management systems Automation testing Working experience in one of the following: C# or Java, NUnit, Junit, jbehave, JSON and XML and Test Automation. Test first methods (ATDD/BDD/TDD) Experience of Cucumber, Selenium, HP Performance Centre, Loadrunner, JMeter or similar toolsets to support automation, and non-functional testing. System integration testing (auto) including 3rd party systems Hands on experience of testing Windows Services, Restful web services and/or ESB asynchronous message-based systems (MuleSoft, NService Bus, Rabbit MQ etc.) using appropriate tools. Cloud Service experience API testing exposure Supply/Retail/Warehouse background CI/CD Experience Some experience with an object-oriented programming language to author tests at multiple levels and be comfortable with source control, CI/CD tools and Cloud technologies.
