Job Description:
The Office of Housing provides vital public services through its nationally administered programs. Job Responsibilities:
- Facilitate or provide training to property management and relocation contractors and agents on new programs, changes in HUD policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Service difficult and complex multifamily projects which may have controversies, opposing special interest groups, adverse economic or environmental circumstances and impact on the community.
- Serve as a technical advisor to the Property Disposition Division Director or Supervisory Realty Specialists on all matters related to the relocation of tenants and the acquisition, management, repair and sale of HUD-owned projects, relocation of tenants, partial payment of claims and foreclosures of defaulted loans.
- Perform pre-disposition review, analysis, and procedures necessary to achieve the relocation of tenants from substandard HUD-assisted or subsidized properties, facilitate an expeditious transition to HUD-owned or MIP status, or initiation of sale activities.
Job Requirements:
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Obtain and use a Government-issued charge card for business-related travel.
- Must successfully complete a background investigation.
- Must be U.S. Citizen or U.S. National.
Qualification & Experience:
- To be qualified for this position at the GS-12 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level.
