Job Description: This position will lead the development of infotainment software with a focus on head unit software, creating a top-class infotainment platform that applies to numerous future influential models simultaneously. Job Responsibilities: Direction to supplier to develop specifications that can achieve first round review approval. Meet development milestones on schedule As there will be interaction with international staff, the candidate should have a diverse cultural understanding and exposure, with the ability to alter communication methods to effectively transmit technical concepts to necessary audiences. Able to track multiple activities happening simultaneously to close out items on schedule Determine test plans and results satisfy requirements (incl. sound performance judgement, certifications) Constant communication with supplier to report Honda requirements, remain aware of development status, and arrange scheduling of reporting content (ex: Sys Verif, Softw GO, etc) Investigate/identify problem root cause with supplier support (if needed) Arrange necessary communication with other Honda entities & Suppliers to correlate customer viewpoint reflection Report development content Job Requirements: Sitting (40%), Vehicle testing (35%), Standing (10%), Walking (10%), Reaching (5%), Crouching (4%), Bending (4%), stooping (4%), Lift/Carry 50lbs (2%), Pushes/Pulls equip (2%) Exposure to: Flammable gases, Compressed gases, Extreme Temperatures, Radio Frequencies, Drive vehicles, Color vision Qualification & Experience: 4-yr degree of BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering Minimum 3 months of co-op/internship/full-time experience.
