Honda Hiring – Airframe Design Engineer

Job Description:

You will be at the forefront of the next generation of highly talented airframe engineers at Honda Aircraft Company. You will be given the opportunity to apply your outstanding industry achievements to the Research, Design and Development of future structural airframes utilizing a blend of state of the art CAD software, advanced technology materials, advanced manufacturing techniques and airplane level design development. Job Responsibilities:

• You will collaborate with other engineers, with other divisions within Honda Aircraft Company and with external Suppliers. This will require strong communication skills, initiative and a desire to learn and contribute.
• You will develop a wide range of technologies from conventional aircraft designs to complex configurations, materials and manufacturing techniques for usage on our advanced product.
• With the full support of your manager, you will take personal responsibility for your continued professional growth and development.
• You will be working in a fast paced environment, and will embrace constantly evolving tasks and priorities. This will include technology research, structural architecture development, detail design development and analysis, CAD modeling, aircraft level troubleshooting, supporting airplane build and support of aircraft flight testing. You will become a key contributor with rapidly increasing levels of responsibility.
• While working alongside highly skilled and experienced engineers, you will be assigned a mentor to ensure your personal development as an Airframe Design Engineer for the aircraft primary and secondary structural elements.
• You will be expected to utilize novel approaches to solve complex and challenging problems.

Job Requirements:

• You have excelled academically, and earned a Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• You have demonstrated this knowledge at a recognized Aerospace Company and gained experience and expertise in areas of airplane development, technical leadership and cross function integration.
• During that time, you have demonstrated a passion for working on diverse and challenging projects.
• Now you are seeking an opportunity to advance your knowledge in an expanded technical leadership roll working with other talented engineers in the research and development of the next generation of aircraft structure.
