Department of Homeland Security Jobs – Supply Technician

Job Description:

This position is located in Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC), Small Boat Product Line, Baltimore, Maryland.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conducting the full range of provisioning and pre-procurement screening for preparing new item entries for stock number assignment, and screen incoming high priority requisitions.
• Coordinating with suppliers and originators of Item Entry Proposals in a team effort to assure that the needs of both internal and external customers are met.
• Responding to requests from operating unit customers regarding management and item identification data such as status of NSN, reference numbers, source of supply information, acquisition advice codes, unit price and general supply questions relating to supply regulations, policies procedures and instructions.
• Providing administrative support and assistance to higher level supply technicians and technical specialist.
