Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent, detail-driven professional to provide vital expertise in support of our Driver Assist Technologies Embedded Software development activities. This involves applying engineering principles and analytical techniques in Embedded Safety in support of ADAS Software development.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build software architecture design based on system design in architecture tool (i.e., Magic Draw) and allocate the software cybersecurity requirement to the architecture.
  • Perform/support software integration testing in simulation/bench/HIL environment based on software architecture design.
  • Support feature owner and application team to build and maintain common/project specific calibrations.
  • Build vital work product per ISO 26262 Chapter 6 and collect required test evidence to build software safety cases.
  • Closely coordinate with feature development engineers to support execution of functional safety design verification plans to ensure proper feature-level performance
  • Support system architecture and system engineer to build ECU/module system design and technical safety concept.
  • Support field issue resolution and root-cause analysis.
  • Follow/implement the functional safety software development process per ISO 26262 Chapter 6 and OEM specific strategy.
  • Supply to process improvement to achieve ASPICE compliance.
  • Perform/support embedded software testing in HIL/vehicle environment based on software safety requirement.
  • Support safety analysis on the system and software level.
  • Perform/support software unit verification in MIL/SIL environment based on software unit design.
  • Support system engineer and HW engineer to build hardware software interface.
  • Support functional safety manager and internal/external functional safety specialist to ensure ISO26262 compliance including functional safety auditing.

Job Requirements:

  • Familiar with software architecture design tool based on UML/SysML (i.e. MagicDraw, Enterprise Architect).
  • 1+ years’ experience in System/SW/HW development per ISO26262.
  • Familiar with software change control and issue tracking tool (i.e. Jira).
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Familiar with safety analysis tool (i.e. Medini).
  • Familiar with software requirement management tool (i.e. Polarion, Doors, JAMA).
  • 5+ years’ experience in embedded software development for safety critical system.
  • 1+ years’ experience in embedded software development experience under adaptive AUTOSAR framework.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related Field
  • Familiar with E-GAS safety concept.
  • Familiar with static code analysis tool and standard (i.e. Polyspace/Coverity, MISRA – C).
  • Familiar with hardware safety concept (i.e. SMU/MPU/Watchdog).
  • Familiar with Classic AUTOSAR and workflow (i.e. Vector MICROSAR/DaVinci tools).
  • Familiar with embedded software debug tool (i.e. Lauterbach/Trace32).
  • 3+ years’ experience in System/SW/HW development per ISO26262.
  • 1+ years’ experience in software development and code generation using Matlab, Simulink/Targetlink.
  • 1+ years’ experience in application engineer for active safety systems such as ACC, AEB, LKA, TJA, Collision Avoidance.
  • Familiar with software unit testing tool (i.e. BTC, TPT, Reactis, VectorCAST).
  • Familiar with HIL testing and vehicle testing (controllability assessment).
