Grocery Clerk (Frozen Food) informs customers of frozen food specials and recommends frozen food items to customers to ensure they get the products they want and need. Notify management of customer or employee accidents. Check product quality to ensure freshness. Review "sell by" dates and take appropriate action. Practice preventive maintenance by properly inspecting equipment and notify appropriate department or store manager of any items in need of repair. Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions and notify store management. Grocery Clerk (Dairy) informs customers of dairy specials and recommends dairy items to customers to ensure they get the products they want and need. Display a positive attitude. Promote trust and respect among associates. Report all safety risks or issues, and illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud. Recommend grocery items to customers to ensure they get the products they want and need. Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions regarding products sold within the department and throughout the store. Check product quality to ensure freshness. Review "sell by" dates and take appropriate action. Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise. Grocery Clerk (Frozen Food & Dairy) provides customers with fresh and non-perishable grocery products that they have ordered. Inform customers of grocery, dairy, and frozen specials.
