Job Description:
Under the direction of the Risk and Operations Management Unit (ROM) Manager, Staff Services Manager I (SSMI), the AGPA works in a team environment with ROM and Organizational Development Branch (ODB).
Job Responsibilities:
- The AGPA works as lead over the policy management function to establish and ensure consistent and interconnected policy department wide.
- The APGA reviews and provides guidance on draft policy and continuously updates and improves the DFW Operations Manual. This function includes consultation and analysis of organizational needs with internal customers and partners to continuously improve consistency and clarity.
- In addition, the APGA performs analytical tasks to provide reports, analysis, and recommendations regarding organizational trends and issues of potential impact to the Department.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to develop and evaluate alternatives
- Ability to analyze data and present ideas and information effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to consult with and advise administrators or other interested parties on a wide variety of subject-matter areas
- Ability to gain and maintain the confidence and cooperation of those contacted during the course of work
- Ability to coordinate the work of others, act as a team or conference leader
- Ability to appear before legislative and other committees.
Qualification & Experience:

One year of experience performing the duties of a Staff Services Analyst, Range C.
