Job Description:
The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for administering a full range of logistics management analysis designed to develop management and/or program evaluation plans, procedures, and methodology.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assuming primary responsibility for ensuring that logistics management regulations and policies published are consistent with the statutory requirements and existing policy, that their need is justified, and that they are adequately supported by appropriate analysis.
- Developing logistics operating standards; developing major emergency logistics studies and reviewing and providing policy for implementation.
- Reviewing studies and planning and interpreting DHS and other federal agency policies, procedures, and regulations/directives for impact on FEMA’s capability planning and other emergency support functions.
- Representing FEMA with OSD, the Unified Commands, Services and Federal agencies in planning and executing worldwide emergency operations in support of Stafford Act requirements.
