Job Description:
In this position, as the EEO Specialist you will provide technical assistance and training, of varying degrees of complexity, to lower graded EEO Specialist, and FEMA employees.
Job Responsibilities:
- Writing acceptance and dismissals claims.
- Coordinating and developing case analyses;
- EEO Counseling and Report of Investigations;
Job Requirements:
- You must be a U.S. citizen to apply for this position.
- Current federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements.
- You must be able to obtain and maintain a Government credit card.
- Selective Service registration required.
- You must successfully pass a background investigation.
Qualification & Experience:
- One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade (GS-12) in the Federal Service. This experience may have been gained in the federal government, a state or local government, a non-profit organization, the private sector, or as a volunteer; however, your resume must clearly describe at least one year of specialized experience.
