Job Responsibilities: Directs the formulation of budget requests, reviews monthly salary projections, monitors the fund control systems of each program manager, and prepares monthly reports detailing the financial status of each program area. Provides training to the Associate Wardens and Program Managers on the requirements of the Budget, Obligation, and Travel Modules. Conducts cash verifications, draft compliance reviews, physical inventories, government credit card reviews, and provide training to institution staff on a regular basis. Responsible for the accuracy of all financial obligations to ensure compliance with established regulations. Directs and coordinates accounting operations which include cash processing and voucher examination. Responsible for the monthly submission of cash reports and proof-checks. Job Requirements: All applicants are subject to National Crime Information Center (NCIC) and credit checks. Appointment is subject to satisfactory completion of a urinalysis, physical, and background investigation. U.S. Citizenship is Required. Successful completion of the "Introduction to Correctional Techniques," three-week training course at Glynco, Georgia is required. The incumbent is subject to geographic relocation to meet the needs of the agency.
