Job Description:

IT Risk Senior Analyst is to execute the streamlined and effective operation of the IT risk exception program, IT risk register, risk calculation, approved projects aligning with Unit, Division and Business Unit strategy objectives. This role will influence and provide oversight to IT managers, leads and resources across the NA region within IT, Sales, Engineering and Design functions related to presenting risk exceptions to IT Executive Management. The IT Risk Senior Analyst is responsible for understanding the IT risk landscape for Honda within the region, with the ability to quickly understand and communicate specific technical risks to management for IT risk awareness and evaluation. Will work with IT Business Unit Managers and stakeholders to finalize proposed risk exceptions for review and approval.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the processing, completion, and presentation of risk exceptions with IT stakeholders for approval from IT Senior Management. Tracking, reporting, presenting periodic metrics related to risk exceptions, and IT risk register to IT Management. Working with broad range of management levels from individual contributors to Executive Leaders within North America.
• Build NA relationships and network to achieve trust and credibility, by discovering and meeting the needs of internal and external customers. Use persuasion and influence to achieve maximum results with North America IT goals, relating to elevation and minimization of IT risk activities, by designing and influencing adoption of countermeasures across the region through recommendations to executive/senior leaders for investements in information security.
• Lead multi-dimensional, highly complex IT projects and IT security processes to facilitate the completion of risk exception requests created by IT stakeholders. Clear understanding of IT policies (NAITSP and GITSP) and linkage to IT risk statements and scenarios. Effective skills with Microsoft Excel, Access Database and PowerPoint for tracking and reporting metrics related to IT risk activities.

Job Requirements:

• Strong technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including understanding how general computing controls (GCCs) are applied across multiple platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of IT Risk Management practices.
• IS related bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience within IT Risk Management.
• Effective communications skills (written and verbal)
• Familiarity with project management principles.
• Strong familiarity with the following frameworks: COSO, NIST-800-53, ISO/IEC 27001:2013, ISO/IEC 27002:2013, ISO/IEC 27014:2013, COBIT 5, PCI DSS
• In-depth knowledge with completing privacy impact assessments to determine applicability of new/existing privacy laws and policy changes.
• Desired Certifications in (ISC2) CISSP, CRISC, CISA, CISM

Qualification & Experience:

• 7+ years of IT business work experience
• 5+ years in an IT Risk Management practitioner role
