Job Description:

The DMV Field Office is seeking an organized, self-starter to work collaboratively in a team environment focusing on superior in-person customer service. The Manager I may be responsible for the day to day planning, organizing, and directing of work related activities for staff and team members.

Job Responsibilities:

  • The incumbent provides driver license, vehicle registration and other services to the public
  • Meets deadlines
  • Effectively manages multiple priorities and projects
  • Trains, develops and supervises staff
  • Monitors workloads, office budgets, and employee performance
  • Ensures proper implementation of policies and procedures, and service levels are being met
  • May administer drive tests as needed.

  • Planning and organizing skills
  • Experience in supervision
  • Knowledge of control cashiering and DMV Q-Matic/CFS system
  • Personal computer skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Able to demonstrate professionalism
  • Analytical and problem solving skills.

Qualification & Experience:

  • One year of experience in the Department of Motor Vehicles performing the duties of a Supervising Motor Vehicle Representative.
