Job Responsibilities: Responding to inquiries from both internal and external customers Ability to interpret and calculate complex residual contractual provisions in domestic and foreign union codified, sideletter and talent agreements Proactively engaging technology, payroll department and business units to review accounting procedures and make recommendations to improve process efficiencies Developing and administer training programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of Controllership and the company Performing ad hoc analyses and special projects, including financial impact of potential audit claims, estimate, forecasts and analytical support to assist management in making sound business decisions Building team effectiveness by demonstrating, encouraging and mentoring analysts in technical and professional development Managing department workflow for residuals payment and reporting obligations for The Walt Disney Company Maintaining a constructive and collaborative relationship with union representatives Job Requirements: Applies understanding of the industry and how own area contributes to the achievement of objectives Able to work in a flexible team environment and handle multiple assignments simultaneously Excellent communication skills, both oral and written (must be able to tailor his/her communication style as the candidate will interface with employees of all levels) High level knowledge of foreign and domestic union contract provisions, regulations, deadlines, industry standards and requirements Strong understanding of residuals accounting and operating processes of assigned client organizations Professional demeanor, focused, articulate and well organized with strong project management skills Ability to analyze and resolve issues from multiple stakeholders Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast paced environment Qualification & Experience: Minimum 5 years residuals accounting experience Minimum 4 years entertainment payroll, studio or production company experience Job Details: Company: The Walt Disney Company Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Glendale, CA, USA Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here vacancyvite.com
