Defense Intelligence Agency Internships – General Inspector

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinates, monitors, and integrates valid intelligence while ensuring timely, comprehensive and accurate responses. Identifies significant intelligence gaps, specifies collection requirements to fill gaps in information, evaluates resulting intelligence collected in response to requirements and determines analytic approaches to incorporate collected data into all source production.
• Identifies significant trends within assigned subject matter area and proposes new or revised analytic projects to alert decision-makers, collectors, operators, and/or CI Agents to new developments and to meet customer requirements. May be required to provide counterintelligence analysis support to Special Access Programs, investigations, or operations. In conjunction with senior analysts, develops and/or recommends complex analytic approaches to problems and situations for which data is incomplete, controversial, or for which no precedent exists.
• Researches, reviews, edits, plans, prepares, integrates and publishes complex all-source studies, papers, briefings, and assessments in coordination with other Agency elements and Intelligence Community (IC) components on foreign intelligence services and entities, primarily occurring in or emanating from specific functional or regional area(s).
• This position is responsible for performing the following duties:
  Conducts extensive research and analysis of foreign intelligence and counterintelligence activities and programs. Provides recommendations on analytic counterintelligence priorities.
• A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized.
• This position is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado and is with NORAD/United States Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) and will serve as a counterintelligence analyst in the N&NC J2X responsible for assessing foreign intelligence entity activities and their impact(s) on N&NC interests.
