Job Description:

Code, debug, test, and support programs, applications, services, mobile apps, utilities and tools as part of the application development process. Define system scope, objectives, and requirements. Function as a top-level technical expert in development through the application lifecycle. Partner with management to identify and research application problems, search for solutions, and make recommendations. [Include department/team focus]. Applicants will be required to engage in ongoing background checks through the duration of this position with continued passing results.

Job Responsibilities:

• Document test cases, expected test results, test data requirements, and collaborate with testing teams and business partners to resolve testing problems.
• Code, debug, test and support utilities, tools, and frameworks to support the application development process.
• Provide leadership and technical direction to team members and monitor the deliverables of the technical team.
• Research, analyze, and define business solutions of large systems scope and complexity. Prepare detailed specifications for large complex projects and design solutions for complex business problems.
• Create system designs to facilitate the inter-operability of large-scale business systems.
• Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager

Job Requirements:

• Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to contingency plan, analyze systems for efficiencies, and develop test case scenarios
• Knowledge of multiple business functional / technical areas
• Ability to use multiple tools and techniques to facilitate the design, development, and integration of business systems
• Ability to develop increasingly complex business systems
• Ability to communicate effectively (both written and orally) with all levels of audiences
• Knowledge of a wide range of technical systems or expertise in a more narrow range

Qualification & Experience:

• Graduate Degree

• 5 or more years of experience in Transportation/Intermodal Operations, Information Systems, or Logistics
• 10 or more years of experience in Transportation/Intermodal Operations, Information Systems, or Logistics

• Bachelor’s Degree/4-year Degree
• 3 or more years of experience in Transportation/Intermodal Operations, Information Systems, or Logistics
