Job Description:
The new Clorox cat litter manufacturing facility in Martinsburg, WV is looking for an HR Intern for the Spring and Summer. The HR Intern will serve a critical role in the success of this new plant by enabling many of the recruiting activities required before startup. Primary responsibilities will include end-to-end recruiting, assisting with training documentation and coordination, and some general administrative duties.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with training coordination, documentation, and delivery.
- Coordinate meetings, trainings, and meals as needed.
- Assist in end-to-end recruiting process, including screening resumes, scheduling interviews, conducting phone screens and assessments, making offer letters, and managing background checks.
- Lead onboarding sessions for new hires.
- Complete other tasks as needed to support business requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Dates of Internship: Feb – June 2025
- Ability to effectively communicate ideas, build relationships, and appropriately interface with internal/external contacts.
- Offers of employment are contingent upon proof of the applicant’s legal right to work and be employed in the United States.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Energetic, effective and responsive with an eagerness to learn.
- Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required.
- No Visa Sponsorship.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of key HR information.
- This position is not eligible for relocation.
