Job Description:
As a Senior Clinical Consultant, you will partner with client stakeholders and leaders to form relationships and holistically impact client clinical performance, satisfaction, and clinical and business outcomes during project engagements for the Cerner Clairvia Solution Suite within the Acute and Outpatient venues of care. Using your clinical knowledge and experience, you will provide clinical guidance and expertise to clients and internal project teams; consult and collaborate with clients to design optimal clinical workflows; and facilitate the analysis of current state, future state, and gap analysis with an emphasis on understanding the change impact and recommending strategies to prepare for adoption of the change to reach desired workforce and workload management outcomes. This position will manage and own the client’s value measurement plan for the Clairvia implementation; support the engagement management team in ensuring project deliverables and timelines are met to deliver value to the client as committed; lead client meetings and facilitate discussions around clinical alignment and adoption of technology; and cultivate client relationships to achieve business outcomes. We are currently seeking an experienced Clinical Consultant to specialize in Cerner Clairvia including solutions focused on scheduling, care giver assignments, outcomes-driven acuity, and reporting capabilities to improve operational efficiency across healthcare organizations. Specific solutions include Staff Manager, Physician Scheduler, Assignment Manager, ShiftAlert, Demand Manager, Outcomes-Driven Acuity, and Patient Progress Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
- Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to an already virtually approved location
- Eligible for licensure to practice in their field or comparable global training
- Must be willing to travel up to 80-100% as needed (potentially internationally)
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
Job Requirements:
- 3-4 years of experience managing large, complex full cycle solution implementations
- 3-4 years of experience working with Cerner Millennium applications
- 3-4 years of experience with Cerner Clairvia Solution Suite experience
- Previous experience with workload and workforce management
- At least 8 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
- At least 2 years of licensed health care practice, clinical consulting and/or other clinical healthcare information technology work experience
- Previous client consulting experience
- Experience implementing client/server applications
- 4 years of experience with staff scheduling, staffing assignments, staffing workflows, hospital admission/registration process, and/or other related hospital operations
