Job Description:

Responsible for managing a large team to deliver performance and planning integration and coordination activities, such as driving standardization and continuous improvements to business planning processes, contributing to strategic development, providing support to Finance and regional leadership teams and delivering central coordination of regional business and financial reviews.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with Business partners, Business Finance and PPM (Planning & Performance Management) teams to prioritise and define digital MI use case
  • Works with I&E teams to establish self-service data assets for business / finance analysts and self-service reporting capability within the PPM teams (Power BI)
  • Align with all M&C regions to ensure consistency – working with colleagues from other regions
  • Leads transparent monthly reporting on delivery status against agreed scope and budget
  • Provide oversight of delivery cost for C&P Ops MI and gets regular (monthly) transparency of actual / forecast to complete costs from I&E team as well as underlying cost drivers
  • Embeds C&P wide standards for value case assessment, data models, data cataloguing and self-service (data assets and standard MI)
  • Responsible for identifying PII (personally identifiable information) within data assets and ensuring appropriate data security policies are applied
  • Act as main data provider for other PPM digital projects (e.g., IBP)
  • Input to and recommend common data model in conjunction with I&E
  • Contribute to the PPM Digital consolidation project
  • Develop and deliver the C&P Op MI vision and roadmap
  • Responsible for ensuring C&P data models conform the PPM CDM framework
  • Work with I&E to rebuild or adapt DataMart’s when there is a significant system change (e.g., AWS migration)
  • Acts as steward for Ops MI data – ensuring accurate definitions and usage across C&P
  • Leads a team, ensuring the appropriate expectations, principles, structures, tools and responsibilities are in place to deliver the plan and maintains constructive dialogue with team members to support performance and career development
  • Ensures I&E deliverables meet business needs (performance, data build, security and visualisation build)

Job Requirements:

  • Strong leadership to drive team performance, form partnerships, drive transformation and excellence
  • Demonstrated business awareness and factors that drive commercial performance
  • Strong communication skills with all levels of the organisation and between technical and business users. Emphasis on oral presentation skills, facilitation, mentor and feedback
  • Previous experience in managing an international team
  • Demonstrated relationship management, effective communication, and strong influencing skills
  • Strong Management of Change experience, capable of leading business & people through integration and transformation activities associated with a new team
  • Strong analytical and problem- solving skills

Qualification & Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required – preferably in Engineering
  • Experience in Data Ownership, Architecture and Governance processes
  • System knowledge and experience with Data Visualisation tools – Power BI, Tableau
  • Strong Scrum or Agile experience
