Job Description:

The team member, under minimal supervision, is primarily responsible for working on Process optimization and building mathematical models. This role will participate in daily team collaborations and work closely with GBS and US stakeholders, drive projects independently and will also facilitate business decisions by highlighting opportunities and identifying cause and effect relationships

Job Responsibilities:

• Facilitate business decisions by highlighting opportunities and identifying cause and effect relationships
• Perform research and gather relevant information to define stakeholders’ business problem(s)
• Drive operation research initiatives/projects independently with minimal oversight and ensure timely deliverables
• Partner with technical teams to implement developed solutions/applications in production environment
• Be able to articulate complex technical requirements in a lucid manner and is relevant to business use cases
• Responsible for working on Process optimization and building mathematical models
• Leverage latest methodologies and tools to build analytical solutions/applications
• Ability to work cross-functionally, and across borders to effectively execute the goals
• Adopt a pragmatic approach and think smart to come up with relevant data science techniques for business challenges
• Manage stakeholders with respect to process level activities

Job Requirement:

• Good experience with MS-Excel and PowerPoint presentations
• Flexible to shift changes at short notice
• 4+ years’ work experience in analytical business consulting
• A go-getter and a self-starter with willingness to learn and adapt to changes
• Worked on varied data problems; structured/unstructured and small/large in size
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Significant experience in Project and Stakeholder Management
• Knowledge of various machine learning techniques
• Working knowledge of exact, approximation algorithm, and heuristic methods
• Strong work management skills and experience as SME
• Able to handle multiple deliverables simultaneously while being flexible and responsive to changing environments
• Strong analytical, reasoning and problem solving aptitude
