Job Responsibilities:

In this highly collaborative role, you’ll be responsible for shaping and delivering the operations and development of our central home delivery fulfilment operations to drive service improvements and cost reduction. You’ll work closely with our Supply Chain teams to ensure the right stock is in the right building at the right time and you’ll be responsible for the inbound, outbound and returns operations within the 3 fulfilment centres. We’d like you to drive and deliver the ambition of the future home delivery proposition and execute this to the highest standards, driving continual improvement, consistency, and synergy across all fulfilment centres. Reporting to our Head of Home Delivery you’ll lead a small team.

Job Requirements:

• Comfortable with creating challenge and managing conflict to deliver improvements
• A comprehensive understanding of the customer fulfilment journey
• Experience of driving OTIF despatch KPI’s, NPS and Safety
• Ability to drive behavioural change through engagement and the setting of clear targets and outcomes
• Strong analytical skills – able to create insight from data to drive tangible actions across service and cost metrics
• Experience of managing the service and performance of 3PL partners
• Ability to Influence senior stakeholders within B&Q and 3PL providers
• Experience of budgets and contract management
• Experience in a complex logistics role, preferably in another retailer with multiple delivery routes to home and multiple 3PL providers
• Experience of leading and coaching a team
