Job Description:
As a Recruitment Assistant, you will be involved in the screening of online applications and video applications across multiple business areas, leading assessment centres for external candidates, answering recruitment related queries, business reporting and working with the wider business to uphold best practice.
Job Responsibilities:
- Application and video interview screening of Graduate Area Manager and Industrial Placement applications.
- Assist with the developing and testing of all applicant tracking system releases.
- Analyse recruitment requirements and interpreting data to assess both current and future vacancies identifying where additional marketing and PR support may be needed and liaise with the relevant parties to authorise this additional media support.
- Analyse the effectiveness of recruitment marketing campaigns and making recommendations for changes.
- Headhunt for prospective candidates.
- Hiring Manager support and data analysis.
- Run group assessments and interviews for Graduate Area Manager and Industrial Placement applications.
- Write and produce any reports or research documents as and when is requested in both a timely and professional format.
- Act as the first point of contact for applicant tracking system and recruitment related queries.
Job Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Previous experience in recruitment, with a wider commercial awareness for both retail and recruitment/HR.
- Assessor experience.
- Ability to plan ahead to meet deadlines with a high level of personal organisation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to take complex information and deliver in a simplified manner.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Experience managing the end-to-end recruitment process including candidate screening and facilitating assessments.
