Position has education requirements--see Qualifications/Education section. Skill in oral communication sufficient to brief senior management on financial recommendations. Skill in using automated and/or manual accounting and financial management systems. Knowledge of accounting theories, procedures, and generally accepted accounting principles and standards. Skill in writing sufficient to develop reports on accounting and financial management issues. You must be a U.S. citizen. EPA and non-EPA applicants must submit transcripts/course listings. A bachelor’s or higher degree from an accredited or pre-accredited college or university in accounting; or a degree in a related field such as business administration, finance, or public administration that included or was supplemented by 24 semester hours in accounting.
