Job Description: Planning enablement is looking for a Program Manager who will be a key contributor in enabling our Financial Planning Organization to make the transition from a retail to a cost method of accounting. In this role you will hypothesize, test and iterate as we discover novel ways to plan in a cost method of accounting. In parallel you will be adapting and creating tools to empower the Financial Planners to do their job in a cost accounting world. Job Responsibilities: We collaborate across functions to bring a nuanced financial planning perspective and advocacy to company initiatives related to financial planning but being developed by other teams. For our customer, the Financial Planning Organization, we strive to make them more effective, accurate and efficient with tools and guidance that enable process improvement and standardization. We create solutions to complex problems using expertise grounded in extensive and diverse financial planning experience. Work to convert and streamline the current suite of financial planning tools in the Quantrix application Collaborate on creation of a Price Type Planning Tool (In Quantrix) Hypothesize, test and iterate when looking to solve for problems discovered during pilot tests Execute a 14 dept. pilot program that will test financial planning in a cost method of accounting Maintain those plans In-season and report out on learnings Will enable Financial Planners to deliver nuanced near term GM targets that can be used to execute markdowns against Create Pre-Season plans with limited applicable data. Job Requirements: Proficiency in excel is required. Data query skills, Oracle based applications and Quantrix experience is a plus. Analytical mindset including algebra to basic statistics, modeling, financial planning experience is a plus Commitment to team through collaboration and effective, proactive communication. Proven ability to work in a fast paced, continuously evolving, and at times ambiguous environment. Demonstrated productivity using time efficiently and effectively to deliver results.
