Job Description: The role of occupational health (OH) medical secretary is to support the clinical OH staff in delivery of a comprehensive, professional Occupational Health clinical service to its customers. Occupational health encompasses medical advisory services, counselling, physiotherapy, health and wellbeing and drug and alcohol services. The role of the OH Medical Secretary ensures, via robust processes, that the services run efficiently and in keeping with Data Protection principles. Job Responsibilities: Accountable for typing, audio typing and editing documents including memos of advice to managers, presentation materials to support the clinical staff and ensure accuracy of outgoing advice Tracking receipt of third-party reports and liaising with third parties to ensure prompt report receipt so that clinicians can give timely advice to our customers Accountable for efficient and accurate arrangement of OH appointments for employees and for processing referrals from managers to contribute to smooth running of clinics Accountable for providing minute-taking services and producing agendas to support the clinical team in stakeholder meetings, appeals and other processes to ensure accurate medical data collection Maintaining and managing medical records in accordance with Data Protection Principles to ensure legal compliance Responsible for the management, organisation, prioritisation and accuracy of their own workload. Accountable for helpful and professional liaison with stakeholders to arrange meetings, appointments, rooms for clinical staff whilst maintaining confidentiality Facilitate and uphold robust consent processes to ensure that OH is legally compliant Job Requirements: Ability to organise, prioritise and multi-task to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure Good collaboration skills Excellent customer service skills to ensure customer enquiries are dealt with within the agreed response times Strong attention to detail Ability to support team in ensuring that a quality medical admin service is supplied to members of Tfl/LUL and its subsidiaries Strong communication skills Qualification & Experience: AMSPAR qualification is desirable Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and good team working skills are essential along with the ability to be flexible Sound knowledge of Windows NT including Excel and Windows (essential), plus Power Point (desirable) Copy and Audio typing skills minimum of 60 wpm Previous medical secretarial experience Job Details: Company: TFL Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Wembley, GB Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here vacancyvite.com
